Private Tuition
Since the club has opened, there have been numerous enquiries about private tuition.
During covid we have started online lessons through our facebook page here
NEO Nunchaku
and the nunchaku lessons group is here
NEO ZOOM Lessons group
this is a cheaper alternative by far to private lessons so check them out and join in soon.
If you are interested you can book a free trial lesson or book our 4 week lesson plan. To do this go here to our FaceBook groups page
here. There is a Saturday lesson at 2pm for an hour and 15 minutes that can be joined, or choose a time slot for a free lesson. You can join the group and make contact a post questions there if you wish.
Private lesson via Zoom every other week or every week for one or two hours. Two people at the same location sharing, although not one to one will facilitate the learning process and a training partner is a must.
We have quite a few available slots for private tuition via our NEO Nunchaku Zoom Lessons, during the week, evenings and weekends. Let me know what your requirements are, I can teach for one or two hours at least every other week.
I have reduced the overall lesson charge in the New Year, but cannot reduce the travel expenses but I have lowered travel time costs, this has significantly reduced the overall price for a two hour private lesson.
The following will only be relevant sometime post COVID...........I can teach privately in and around Greater London and beyond and would need to teach a one and a half or two hour lesson every other week or a two hour lesson once a month. As a distance learner the cost for the lesson is £50 or a two hour lesson £60. However this cost does not include travel time and expenses, which when added usually make it too expensive. Until I know where you live, I can not put an exact price on this, however the time in traveling will be charged at £10 per hour. Also any petrol and tolls etc will be added.
An alternative as a distance learner is to come to the club, on the normal Sunday club night, and stay for an extra hour, to make the traveling and learning more economical. This would cost in total £35, if you can do this once a month
An alternative for me is to teach more than one person in any one area or venue. So if you are still interested, you really will need to find an interested partner to learn with or who lives local to you and is interested in learning on the same day. This way at least the travel time and expenses will be halved. A minimum for two training at the same venue, a fairly close lesson £75, or 90 for the 2 hour lesson. Those further away will see a bigger change in price than those who are nearer and this may well prompt you to travel to the NEO classes. Beyond that it would benefit all Nunchaku students to have a partner to train with.
I can build a database of names and locations, if luck would have it, matching you with a training partner, so that you can train together on the same day, locally to each other you would either train at your home or their home.
If I can teach a minimum of two people in any one area or location for a two hour lesson then this would be cost effective on mine and the students time and reduce the students costs. I would have to restrict this to Greater London and within the M25. However, if money is not the priority I would be prepared to travel longer distances, to teach you in the comfort of your own home, still the cost can be reduced by having extra people to teach.
