NUNCHAKU PRIVATE TUITION

is based in the south of England, Kingston, Surrey.

NEO has been established to teach a free style form of Nunchaku.

We are looking to teach a wide spectrum of techniques in a holistic way building up groups of integrated techniques to keep the learning process direct and fulfilling. We ultimately want to create within our students a balanced and powerful yet detached and easy execution of techniques in a natural way. 

 Since the club has opened, there have been numerous enquiries about private tuition. 

I have reduced the overall lesson charge in the New Year, but cannot reduce the travel expenses but I have lowered travel time costs, this has significantly reduced the overall price for a two hour private lesson. Further reductions can be made

I can teach privately in and around Greater London and would need to teach  a two hour lesson every two or every four weeks. As a distance learner the cost for the lesson is £25. However this cost does not include travel time and expenses, which when added usually make it too expensive. Until I know where you live, I can not put an exact price on this, however the time in traveling will be charged at £5 per hour. A minimum for travel and expense is £5 making a fairly close lesson £30

An alternative as a distance learner is to come to the club, on the normal  Sunday club night, and stay for an extra hour, to make the traveling and learning more economical. This would cost in total £20

An alternative for me is to teach more than one person in any one area or venue. So if you are still interested, you really will need to find an interested partner to learn with or who lives local to you and is interested in learning on the same day. This way at least the travel time and expenses will be halved. Those further away will see a bigger change in price than those who are nearer and this may well prompt you to travel to the NEO classes.Beyond that it would benefit all Nunchaku students to have a partner to train with. 

If you register a genuine interest in private tuition, I can build a database of names and locations, if luck would have it, matching you with a training partner, so that you can train together on the same day, locally to each other you would either train at your home or their home. If I can teach a minimum of two people in any one area or location for a two hour lesson then this would be cost effective on mine and the students time and reduce the students costs.

I would have to restrict this to Greater London and within the M25. However, if money is not the priority I would be prepared to travel longer distances, to teach you in the comfort of your own home.

If you would like a club in your area this would take some doing as you will need at least 5-10 interested students, willing to sign up to membership. One of these students would have to be willing to take onboard the instructors course so that they can help with the managing of the club, which means they may have to travel themselves to get this training at times. A suitable venue, would also have to be found. I could only work in the South of England with South East and Greater London being more favorable.
